I hope you can relate—and I promise you won’t be appalled that this “fitness expert” was once out of breath walking up a flight of stairs.

After my third child, I was overwhelmed. I was trying to manage the kids, the house, and working part-time while my husband was in an accelerated nursing program and serving in the Air Force Reserves. Most days, taking care of everyone else came before taking care of myself.

Life felt busy, and honestly, I didn’t know how to make myself a priority.

Then one day, I had a moment where I started thinking about the future. If I was already out of breath walking up a flight of stairs, what would my strength and energy look like 20 years from now?

I wanted to be the mom—and someday the grandmother—who could keep up, participate, and enjoy life.

So I started small.

I learned that some movement was better than none. A short workout was better than waiting for the “perfect” time that never came. Little by little, I built habits that fit my real life.

Eventually, those 20–30 minute workouts became a consistent part of my routine. I got stronger, lost the extra weight, and felt better.

But what I didn’t realize at the time was that my biggest transformation wasn’t just physical.

Over the years, I’ve learned that lasting change requires more than knowing what to eat or how to exercise. It requires understanding our thoughts, emotions, habits, and the stories we tell ourselves.

Through coaching, mindset work, and tools like EFT, I’ve learned how to handle stress differently, work through emotions instead of avoiding them, and make choices based on my values instead of just how I feel in the moment.

I’m incredibly grateful to God for the ways He has allowed me to grow through these experiences and for the tools He has placed in my path. They have helped me better understand myself, grow in wisdom, and become more intentional in how I show up in my relationships and daily life.

They’ve helped me become a better wife, a more patient mom, and a better friend. They’ve helped me communicate my needs, set healthier boundaries, let go of things I can’t control, and build stronger relationships with the people I love.

Today, as a Doctor of Physical Therapy, personal trainer, and life & health coach, my passion is helping women over 40 do the same.

Because getting healthy isn’t just about losing weight or working out. It’s about becoming the woman you want to be.

It’s about building habits that last, strengthening your mindset, and creating a life that reflects what matters most.

Whether you’re starting with a short walk, a 10-minute workout, or simply learning to understand yourself better, small steps can create big change.

You don’t have to start perfectly. You just have to start.

This is why I feel so passionate about helping women create healthy, sustainable change that impacts every area of their lives.

Because getting healthy is about so much more than food and exercise. It’s about learning how to build habits that last, manage your thoughts and emotions, and make choices that align with the person you want to become.

No matter where you are today, no matter how stuck or frustrated you feel, you can start with one small step forward.

You don’t have to wait for the perfect time or completely change everything overnight. Small, consistent choices can transform your health, your confidence, and the way you show up in your everyday life.

I’ve been in your shoes, and I would love to support you as you create lasting change and become the woman you want to be.

You’ve got this,

Coach Michele
