Why fish oil?
In short, omega 3’s are essential and needed for our cells to function normally. As the name suggests, this oil is the fat extracted from fish tissue, rich in Omega-3s, which include EPA, DHA, and DPA. Our bodies require both Omega-3 and Omega-6 to perform important functions. They are essential fatty acids that must be consumed through diet and food supplements, as the body doesn’t produce them naturally.

Omega-3 and Omega-6 are essential fatty acids that our body can’t live without. Having a balanced ratio is key for healthy cells. Ideally, it should be 3 parts Omega-6 to 1 part Omega-3. Xtend is a great multivitamin + immune support. The + on all of Zinzino’s products means it is all-natural. So Extend has some synthetic vitamins like folic acid instead of folate, but this also makes it more affordable. The Xtend+ is an all natural form of all the vitamins. My family uses both. So no right or wrong. Some functional medicine doctors recommend folate instead of folic acid if you have certain genetic mutations.
