EFT works by stimulating points on the body, which helps to calm the nervous system and reset emotional responses. When you tap on these points while focusing on a specific issue, it can send calming signals to the brain, reducing the intensity of negative emotions and often helping to reframe your thoughts.

You can practice EFT on your own, and I even recommend doing so, whether or not you’re working with a practitioner, once you learn how to use EFT correctly. However, working with a trained EFT practitioner is like having a personal coach who can see the whole field while you’re in the game. They help you navigate the emotions tied to your issue, offering an outside perspective and tailored EFT techniques based on your needs. This can make your sessions more effective and help you get deeper results.
